Pros and cons of Push-Ups Counter & Trainer app for iPhone and iPad

Push-Ups Counter & Trainer app good for

good app but it got a little messy when session ends, i pushed up my personal record trying to end the session
You put the device on the floor and touch the screen to count each push-up. Easy to use with clear instructions. The app makes you work hard for each set so I really needed the cool down timer!
I never thought that touching the screen can be used as counter ;D
Ive only used it once so far but it seems like its gonna be great...easy and interactive...very ingenious! Mad respect to those who created it!
Great app, definitely recommend for those who enjoy organized records of physical achievements.
I have the free version right now and Im loving it. Actually makes me want to do push ups. Cant wait to get the full version.

Some bad moments

The app itself is pretty and works well - but the levels in the app are laughable. Select "level 1" for push-ups and the first day youll do something like 2-3-4-3-2 push-ups in sets. Seems reasonable. Jump forward to day 10 (of every other day exercises) and they expect you to be able to do 14-12-14-8-8. Jump forward another few weeks and youre approaching 100 (25+19+10 days to get to this point). Basically, the app sets you up for failure unless you already are able to do a bunch of push-ups. Theres no way someone who struggles with a few push-ups at the start can get to 100 push-ups in a few weeks. You end up having to repeat weeks which is demotivating. :(
The sensor isnt sensitive enough. For every 5 push ups it counted 1 at best. I have to hold myself down half an inch from my device for it to read me and I find myself doing at most half of what I normally would just trying to get mine recorded.
I couldnt even use the app because it kept crashing. Its not my phone because I have a new iPhone 5c. :(
Its kind of useless when the app forgets to save the workout. Instead of progressing, Ive done the same workout two days in a row. This seems to be a theme running through the Runtastic apps .
The worst app I have ever tried because as soon as you download it you start receiving mass amounts of spam. Also in-app advertising makes it almost impossible to use uninterrupted. Even after deleting the stupid thing Im still getting spammed to join their "gold membership". Dont download unless you like your inbox full of crap every day.
I like the app but its limited in functionality and you get bombarded with ads at every step.
