Push-Ups Counter & Trainer App Reviews

Awesome app

The nose function makes me go all the way down and improves my form

Record

This app is great! My only suggestion would be that the records count toward the total push-up count

Completed the program - ready to review

I have enjoyed using this app and am glad I bought it - but some aspects (especially endgame) are a little weak and need improvement. Things I like: - Fair, graduated challenge - Quick workout (10-15 minutes) - Well-timed breaks - Pushup detection (works better on iPhone than iPad, probably due to the assistance of light detection on the phone) - Color scheme (bright and stands out well on most surfaces; easy to read) - Option to turn off audio encouragement - Progress tracking and stats Things that dont mean anything: - Badges (decent motivation in the beginning, but quickly become irrelevant - more creative and long-term badges could improve their significance) - High scores (not filtered for obvious cheaters - anyone can tap their phone 250 times to rank high) - Screen crack effect: distracting and jarring the first time it happens (slightly comical, but equally ridiculous and unnecessary) - Trite motivational quotes: seriously these are terrible - why not record real instructors giving useful tips instead? If I had received one unique tip everyday of the program rather than a motivational saying, Id have racked up a lot of useful advice and saved myself the strain of rolling my eyes after every workout. Things that dont work and need improvement: - Record viewing after level 1: recent progress is not properly shown upon opening stats; I have to tap back and then forward for my most recent stats to be displayed - Level 3 progress badges simply do not work. I completed the whole program but these did not activate. - 4,000 pushups badge does not work either. Ive done close to 5,000 now "overall" which did not trigger the badge. Despite badges being fairly pointless, if youre going to keep them, they might as well work. - The program ends after the 100 pushups day. What?! This is a game-changer, for the worse. I assumed the graduated challenges would continue well beyond the 100 pushups mark, but the program just ends; terminating its usefulness. Add more levels with the same incremental progression. Im certainly not ready to stop at single 100 pushup sets. You got us to this point - dont leave us hanging.

Fantastic

With my iPhone 6 I dont actually have to tap the screen with my nose it counts it as soon as I get really close to it with my chin.

Great motivator

I love this app because it feels like you vs old you and it will keep you improving as long as youd like.

Really cool app

People complain about the touch nose thing but I really dont see why. People saying u need bad form to do it is wrong. If you have good form you will be fine. Great app and ideA

Works

This is the only app that has succeeded in getting me to work out. Easy to use - works great.

good but can have approvements

its not super great but good to workout with

Does not sync with HealthKit

Description of app is misleading. It does in fact not sync with Apples Health app. No work out data is sent to HealthKit.

Enjoying this

I love it already.. Like everyone says. Very motivating.

Great start

The proximity sensor works great. Ou dont need to touch it with your nose, if you have newer phone.

Unusable

Full screen takeovers with ads make this app unusable.
